Open source is more global and expansive in 2009. SDForum’s Global Open Source Colloquium will be addressing the evolving dynamics and fortunes of open source with speakers and panelists from around the world:

•   Government initiatives in the US, Europe, and Asia
•   New and different business models for Open Source
•   Global challenges and opportunities

Last year, SDForum’s Global Open Source Conference attracted a high level, exclusive group of 80 leaders discussing the globalization of open source – attendees included leading industry and government experts examining the worldwide trends in open source software and its commercial as well as on government policy.

In 2009, the Global Open Source Colloquium will continue to address the changing nature of open source software trends in the world. With an exclusive group of leaders in the open source developer, user, and investor communities, the following agenda is designed to foster discussion on emerging business ideas and opportunities in the use of open source for both local and global needs in the coming years.
