swissnex San Francisco shares its Strategic Committee in Switzerland with its sister organizations in Boston and Singapore. The first sitting of the board took place in October 2004, and is held annually in Switzerland.
The members of the board are influential personalities in science, higher education and technology, including academic, government and industry representatives. With their international backgrounds and knowledge of the Swiss and U.S. landscapes (and respectively, Singapore), they advise the President of the Board, State Secretary Charles Kleiber, in matters of financing, the setting of short and long-term goals, and they bring support to the directors of the Swiss Houses. The vice-presidency of the board is assumed by the ambassadors of Switzerland in the U.S. and in Singapore.
