Swiss Knowledge Network with outposts in:
swissnex San Francisco connects the best of many worlds by bridging the knowledge, energy and competencies in science, higher education, art and innovation between Switzerland, the U.S.A and Canada. Initiated by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education and Research (SER) as a public-private venture, and managed in cooperation with the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs, swissnex San Francisco is an annex of the Consulate General of Switzerland in San Francisco. Vital financial support is provided by public and private sponsors sharing swissnex' commitment to connecting the dots.
 

People

Core Team

The core team has the responsibility for swissnex San Francisco as a whole. It reports to the State Secretary for Education and Research

Integrated Teams

Personnel of integrated teams is detached to swissnex San Francisco (aka the Consulate General of Switzerland in San Francisco) by their organization in Switzerland

Associated Teams

Groups with a legal identity in the United States may be welcomed in the swissnex building after an agreement with the Swiss Government.

Strategic committee

swissnex San Francisco shares its Strategic Committee in Switzerland with its sister organizations in Boston and Singapore. The first sitting of the board took place in October 2004, and is held annually in Switzerland.
