Philippe Monod (pastels)

With pastels from his series "Feelings of Contemplation" and "Enigmas & Sensations", Philippe Monod expresses his observations, in an intimate diary-like way, of the hidden signs in nature - a secret part of the enigma of life. At swissnex, he will show 26 sometimes large size pastels, after having exhibited in Switzerland, Brussels, Paris, and New York. He lives near Lausanne, Switzerland (www.philippe-monod.ch)

Catherine Bolle (sculptures with acrylic glass and mixed media)

Catherine Bolle will present "Osmosis of Semiotics - Between Art and Science", three major works of engraved acrylic glass and mixed media. Her oeuvre includes photographies, prints, architectural pieces, and has been exhibited in Switzerland, Costa Rica, Lituania, Israel and Russia. She studied applied physics and chemistry, and lives in Lausanne, Switzerland. At the swissnex exhibition, Catherine Bolle presents three works, all created within the last five years (www.catherinebolle.ch)
