Our network of 100 DYI sensors have been deployed and are now streaming real-time data from San Francisco, Singapore, Shanghai, Bangalore, Rio, Boston and Geneva.
Join the Bay Area d3 User Group to visualize and merge data and build teams to submit your projects in the Data Art Challenge by March 20, 2015. A wide range of creative ideas is possible: Data visualizations (image, infographic, video, motion graphic, interactive web app), games, sonifications, or any other format you can dream up and create.
The prizes are pretty amazing, too, from a trip to one of the streaming cities mentioned above to a Lift Conference fellowship to a 10-week creative code class at Gray Area and an opportunity to have your work displayed in the public realm.
