The Digital Campus convenes university communicators, marketers, and others interested in leveraging new technologies to increase the visibility of their higher education institution.

During this 7th annual event, we will cover issues of specific concern to Swiss university communicators with a focus on science communications on social media and developing a unique voice and tone on social media platforms.

We are very pleased to welcome Laurel Allen, Digital Engagment & Community Manager at the California Academy of Sciences at this event.

In her role, she focuses on the strategy and execution for a social community of more than 2 million, connecting people to science.

Workshop: Finding Your Social Self: A Workshop in Voice, Tone, and Persona

How do you genuinely connect with social audiences? It starts with learning how to be as human as they are. In this workshop, we’ll use your institution’s own mission, attributes, and followers to develop a unique social persona for more effective communication across social platforms. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what sort of language and behavior is right for your brand, plus the skills to evolve that social self even further.
