Game Gazer is an excellent example of how combined forces create a unique exposure for Swiss games in museums, education, and the industry all at once and create networking opportunities for creators and exhibitors alike.
This exhibition will showcase games for mobile and desktop platforms at the Kyoorius Design Yatra in Goa and later travel to Bangalore where a “Gaming Jam” will be held. The Gaming Jam will be a creative – face to face and hands-on event where people of various backgrounds (primarily game players, game developers and game designers) will come together and work on a shared theme. The participants will work together to derive and design new storyboards for games, new user experiences and new game themes/designs, learn new skills and attitudes, and meet new collaborators from India and Switzerland.
Game Gazer was previously shown at swissnex San Francisco during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) supported by the Game Culture initiative of Pro Helvetia – Swiss Arts Council, swissnex San Francisco, Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD) and the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
