Virtual Startup Internationalization During COVID-19
April 15, 2020.
For the past 10 years swissnex San Francisco has hosted Swiss startups in Silicon Valley to help support startups enter the US Market. Given the current pandemic, the next bootcamp will be virtual.
Throughout the year swissnex San Francisco, in collaboration with Innosuisse, offers Swiss Startups a two week bootcamp to prepare for entry into the US Market, or to first validate their product. The physical office space at swissnex at Pier 17, has been an essential part of the experience for startups. The architectural design featuring high ceilings, a modern industrial look-and-feel allows for creativity and innovation. The next bootcamp will be a new experience for startups, who will work on their internationalization strategies from their homes in Switzerland and postpone their trip to the USA to a later date.
The two week bootcamp will feature fireside chats, toolbox sessions, office hours and a virtual Demo Day event, and will take place from May 3-15, 2020. The Demo Day will be open to the public and it will be the first event people located in Switzerland will be able to join in addition to the local San Francisco crowd. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get a glimpse at Swiss tech in the Silicon Valley.
Eight startups working across agTech, sportsTech, wearables, consumer goods, food and beverage, large interactive display, deep learning, and renewable energy will participate in the camp.
